Ramon Cuberta Oxford Adelaide in Antique Rioja Calf

I met with the charming and passionate Ramon Cuberta in London at the Super Trunk Show in 2017 and immediately fell in love with one of his MTO's; the Arrow which is now scheduled for April !

Meanwhile I had ordered a pair of his ready to wear Oxford Adelaides on the Duke last which are pictured below. This last is extremely comfortable and the workmanship, even if his RTW line is partially outsourced, is really of very high quality. These were going at the time for EUR 450 including lasted shoe trees (see below) so a real bargain !

There is a great article and photos on the TWOS website as well and some links on our Ramon Cuberta page as well.

LEATHER DESCRIPTION (from the original website page):

Calf leather come from the best selection of northern free-ranges Spanish cowhides to obtain the most satisfactory quality raw material. The “antique” tanning process is added with smooth corrected its excessive grain obtaining an extra shining, and using two different pigments on dyeing to contrast than the background colour seeking its very own shade. Deeply wax polish and high final gloss, making a very original bright Rioja tone, like this excellent Spanish red wine featuring its unique character, which its well-maintained becomes even more beautiful in time of use.
